The Role

This is a part time (4 days a week) role, mainly based in our Shoreditch office, with the option for flexibility. As PMA’s in-house bookkeeper, you will liaise with our accountancy firm, our payroll bureau, prepare end of year accounts, check and reconcile incoming invoices, create outgoing invoices and develop an analytical overview of the company’s finances.

Experience of finance is a must and, having recently implemented Xero into our business, knowledge of how best to use this software and supporting Apps would be especially desirable, although not essential. The successful candidate will have proven accountancy experience and qualifications, be highly organised, be a good communicator, have a keen eye for detail, who can bring plenty of their own knowledge and ideas to a team that is constantly striving to maintain its standards and be ever better.


£35K+ p/a pro rated to days worked and depending on experience

Main duties to include:

  • VAT returns
  • Process invoices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Maintaining accounting records on Xero software
  • Producing management accounts
  • Regular meetings with the company directors
  • Logging company expenses
  • Creating P&L statements
  • Cash Flow Management
  • Credit Control
